Modeling Dust in Galaxy Simulations

Modeling astrophysical dust grains in modern cosmological galaxy formation simulations -- which typically only resolve elements down to 1e3-1e4 Msun at best -- is an extremely challenging feat. In this overview, I will discuss the main methodologies that have emerged in recent years, successes and limitations of the models, and provide an outlook for the future.
