PanDust 2025 Code of Conduct

The SOC/LOC of PanDust 2025 is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and inclusive experience for all participants. All participants (organizers, speakers, poster presenters, session chairs, staff and other attendees) are expected to abide by the following code of conduct. Please follow these guidelines.

  • PanDust 2025 is a professional networking experience and all participants should be kind and respectful.
  • We expect a diversity of views and opinions to be welcomed by open and constructive criticism rather than personal attacks on individuals. Derogatory or belittling comments regarding an individual's research are unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
  • The SOC and LOC is committed to ensure that there is no discrimination against any individual on the basis of their gender, disability, ethnicity, religion or belief, sexual orientation, marital status, age, nationality or socioeconomic background, or other protected characteristic.
  • Harassment, bullying, discrimination or intimidation will not be tolerated, and anyone asked to stop unacceptable behaviour is expected to comply immediately. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Inappropriate or intimidating behaviour and language or threats of violence;
    • Unwelcome jokes;
    • Unwanted touching or attention;
    • Offensive images;
    • Photography without permission;
    • Stalking;
    • Offensive comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, mental illness, neuro(a)typicality, physical appearance, pregnancy status, political affiliation, marital status, body size, age, ethnicity, national origin, nationality, immigration status, language, religion or lack thereof, or other identity marker.
    • Unwelcome comments regarding a person's lifestyle choices and practices.

Consequences of Violations

Anyone found to be engaging in unacceptable behavior may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the SOC/LOC. In serious cases, the individual may also be reported to their home institution or relevant professional bodies.
